Petra Projects was created by Anastasia Rogers in 2006. Rogers has experience working at Sotheby's, New York, in addition to having worked at Galerie Maeght, Paris, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington D.C., and the Tretyakov Museum, Moscow. She holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Art History and French from Georgetown University.

Petra Projects curates solo and group exhibitions to broaden public awareness of talented, emerging and mid-career artists in New York City and beyond. Exhibitions have been held in rotating venues throughout Manhattan.
